I get asked a lot about how people can look up their cases online.
Most court records are available online. To view a court record you go to
https://caseinfo.arcourts.gov/opad
You can search for a case using the “Participants” tab in the blue column. You will type in the person’s name.
Important note: You MUST spell the person’s name properly. Court connect will not be able to pull up records with a name that is spelled almost correctly. It will turn up with nothing.
You can also search for a court record using the “Cases” tab in the blue column. Type in the case number. Ex: 73CR-25-234.
The results page will show:
- Name
- Party Type (Plaintiff/Defendant) or (Petitioner/Respondent)
- Case Number
- Case Description (The Title of the Case)
- Case Filing Date
- Case Type (Divorce; Order of Protection; Felony, etc)
- Status (Case Open/Case Closed)

I hope this helps!
